February Heat Wave!

We have been having absolutely beautiful weather this month! The temperatures have been in the -4 to -10 range, with LOTS of sunshine and no wind. For this time of year, this is REALLY strange (but thoroughly enjoyed!)
Today was Family Fun Day at Caboose Hill. There was 'sliding', hot dog roasting and snow crafts! It ran from 1 pm - 3 pm....Peekaboo and I were there from 1 pm - 3 pm!!! What a great time! Peekaboo even got to go on a little ski-doo ride with some friends. With the sun, the temp rose above 0!!!

Ezra gets 'ice cream'

Since discovering that Ezra has a sensitivity to dairy, he has missed out on a lot....cheese, milk, sour cream...and ICE CREAM!! So, we bought (for some crazy amount of money) a container of sherbet at the grocery store last week. Ezra really enjoyed it....I..uh....I think....?!?! These are either shivers of joy, or we have done him permanent brain-freeze damage!

Like I didn't feel guitly already......

My sister, Kelsey, has been here visiting for the last 2 weeks. It has been great. The kids love her, my dog LOVES her, I love her.... Well she left this morning on the 7:30am Buffalo flight. Peekaboo started crying as the van drove away and was still crying when the Play School bus came to pick her up over an hour later. NeWT has been moping around the house, looking for Kelsey. Even Ez (who was still in bed when Kelsey left this morning) ran up and down the hallway calling "KeeeSeeee!!!"




So, just in case I didn't feel guilty for living so far away from 'family'....this did it......:(
