My sister, Kelsey, is in town! She has not been up to visit us yet (in fact, she hasn't been many places to visit-this was her first commercial flight!!) She arrived, tired and bedraggled, Monday evening on the Buffalo flight from Yellowknife. We are very happy she is here, and are showing her all the joys of "Hay River Living!"
This is Ezra's impression of Daddy! He put on Tim's hat and scarf, by himself, and followed me around for about 10 minutes screaming "Daddddeeee!!" and laughing like mad! What a kid!
What can I say?!?! Really!?!? This is Ez sporting a lovely twirly skirt, Home Depot apron, toucan hat and soother, arrying Daddy's 1000000 candle rechargable flashlight?!? With kids like this in the house, who needs TV?
When Peekaboo was born Growing Together did a rag quilt project. I managed to finish hers in time to give it to her for her first Christmas. She is actually sleeping with it on her this very minute! With the second child you don't get to do nearly as much as you did with the first-where does the time go?!? Well-yay Growing Together! They did a rag quilt project again, and I was able to make a quilt for Ezra! Here is the finished product....and, he is sleeping with his on him this very minute too!
I am a certified Teacher, who has choosen to stay home with my 2 adorable children! I also look after other people's children, and make cakes, and sew, and crochet, and have a part-time job with eyeGO....life is never dull!
