Peekaboo's Halloween Costume!

Peekaboo drew this picture of herself and Ezra dressed up for Halloween. I think it is AWESOME!!! I didn't even know she could draw a butterfly! (Ezra is going as a caterpillar...with big ears, apparently!)

The Pegasus Unicorn

Peekaboo got a hot pink flying unicorn costume from her Gramma, Peter, Aunt Kelsey and Aunt Deni. This has been a big hit as a birthday gift, she has hardly taken it off since it came out of the box! The flashing LED glasses certainly add....something!

Ezra had to get in on the action too.... He is sporting not one but TWO tutu skirts and a bunny-ear hat. What can I say...really, what?!?

Her Birthday is tomorrow, but we are partying today!

This is the (almost) 4-year-old. We had her party a day early, so that it was on a Saturday and not on Thanksgiving Sunday! She was VERY excited and had the noise maker going by 8am-yahoo! I cannot believe that 4 years ago I was spending my Thanksgiving (and my Father's birthday) in St Joseph's hospital waiting for this little turkey!!

The 4th Birthday Crew

Ezra (of course) Peekaboo, Kynidi, Charlotte, Ian, Josee and Jacob. Frances and Jennifer (Josee's mom) also stayed. Tim was here...but, where?!! The kids had great fun running from one end of the house to the other screaming and acting crazy. There is a reason I schedule my parties for only 2 hours!! A fun time was had by all!

The Ballerina Cake

The "pinky-pink ballerina cake" requested by the birthday girl. Round tiers are white cake, coloured to look 'like a rainbow' as per requested. Covered in buttercream and fondant. The bottom rectangle is a pound cake. The ballerina was .... a challenge!

This was my first gum paste figure. She didn't turn out too badly, but there are definately some things I would do differently next time. Peekaboo didn't mind. She thought that the ballerina was great, wanted to eat her right away!!

Well....? What can I say really? This is an outfit discovered by Peekaboo's aunt Deni and sent a couple of months ago. It has been warm enough for her to wear it without the tights, up until now! She is the only one that I know that could even begin to pull off this look! (Yep, it's true, not even I could!!)
She calls it her "tutu dress with dots" and it is that, and a whole lot more! This photo is mid-spin!
